Avdel nG4 Reconditioned Hydro-Pneumatic Rivet Tool Features The nG4 is a hydro-pneumatic tool designed to place Avdel® breakstem fasteners at high speed making it ideal for batch or flow-line assembly in a wide variety of applications throughout all industries. It can place all fasteners listed opposite. The tool features a vacuum system for fastener retention and trouble free collection of the spent stems regardless of tool orientation. The nG4 tool has the capability to fit some of the larger rivets in Avdel’s portfolio. Its ergonomic design and reinforced structure make the nG4 tool easy to use, yet tough enough to endure any assembly line. Placing capability of the nG4 includes most Avdel® breakstem rivets up to 6.4mm (1/4″) breakstem rivets. The nG4 can also place Avseal sealing plugs up to 12 mm, Avtainer lockbolts 10.0mm (3/8″), Avdelok and Maxlok lockbolts 4.8mm (3/16″) and 6.4mm (1/4″), Hemlok structural rivets 6.4mm (1/4″), and Avibulb XT and Avinox XT structural rivets 6.4 mm (1/4″). The nG4 can be used for a variety of applications, and the integrated counter enables operators to keep track of progress.
